Biographie
Diane Hymans vit et travaille entre Arles, Paris et Marseille. Elle a commencé par étudier l’Histoire de l’Art et la Photographie à la Sorbonne avant d’intégrer l’École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie d’Arles. Elle a également étudié à la Aalto University à Helsinki et aux Beaux-Arts de Lyon.

Démarche
Diane Hymans est une artiste contemporaine dont le travail explore les différentes formes de représentation qui structurent la culture visuelle moderne. À travers la photographie, l’image collectée et l’installation, elle examine la matérialité des images, leurs usages et les déplacements qu’elles génèrent. Sa pratique adopte une approche transversale, mêlant recherche iconographique et expérimentation formelle.

    Diane Hymans lives and works between Arles, Paris, and Marseille. She began her studies in Art History and Photography at the Sorbonne before attending the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles. She also studied at Aalto University in Helsinki and the École des Beaux-Arts in Lyon.

    Diane Hymans is a contemporary artist whose work explores the various forms of representation that structure modern visual culture. Through photography, collected images, and installation, she examines the materiality of images, their uses, and the shifts they generate.
